This Springfield Armory manufactured serrated trigger is for the later trapdoor rifle in 45-70 Govt. caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a dark oil quenched blue finish with light slot wear. (file photo)
Note: Springfield model 1873 trapdoor rifles and carbines with serial numbers of 230,000 or higher would have had this style trigger.
